Barcelona–El Prat Airport is the main international airport in Catalonia and one of the busiest airports in Spain. From here, passengers can reach more than 200 destinations across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East. Most major European cities are less than a two-hour flight away.

In addition, the airport is well connected to the city by public transport, including train, metro, and bus services. Barcelona’s city center and the main train stations can be reached in around 20–30 minutes, making onward travel quick and convenient.

BY TRAIN

Around 400,000 passengers pass through Barcelona Sants railway station every day, making it the largest and most important rail hub in Catalonia. It plays a key role in connecting Barcelona with the rest of Spain and Europe. Major cities such as Madrid, Valencia, and Paris can be reached in just a few hours by high-speed train. Barcelona Sants is also a major interchange for local and regional public transport, with excellent metro, bus, and commuter train connections.
